Ida Sukno, a local that knows her stuff!

Ida, a Croatian, Montenegrin, grew up in the Dubrovnik area and has been living there all her life. Presently she lives in the country with her little family (husband and son) surrounded by nature and animals (cats, dog, guinea pig and planning for more!) A nature lover, she tries to spend every free moment on long walks and trekking.

After finishing Touristic school, she wanted to continue to study history and literature, as reading is her passion, but due to life circumstances she ended up at the Dubrovnik Maritime University and graduated in Maritime studies. She also received diploma certification as an agency manager, an agent of sustainable development, cabin crew member and in German language course 1 and 2 at DeutschAkademie Vienna.

As Dubrovnik is a well known tourist destination, during her studies and after, all her experience was related to different branches of tourism. She worked on the front lines of large hotels, restaurants and retail. She worked as a flight attendant, travelling around Europe and some parts of Africa, experiencing different cultures and people from all over the world. Her versatility led her to decide to start her own agency for private accommodation and tours.
