Monday
Monday is the first day of our tour and our participants will be arriving throughout the day, if they chose not to arrive early.
We will meet at 7pm for our welcome dinner.
Tuesday
Our first painting day will be in Cavtat.
Cavtat is set on a horseshoe-shaped bay, defined by two long
peninsulas covered in pine forests with the port and
a tree-lined promenade in between.
Wednesday
Today we will be painting in Mlini.
Mlini is one of the most idyllic places on the Dubrovnik Riviera for a Croatia villa holiday. With some of the prettiest Croatia beaches, meandering paths around the bay, a charming old village and harbour, Mlini Bay is a balm for the soul.
Dinner is not included today
Thursday
Today we are painting in the village Ljuta, along the Ljuta river.
We will not return to the hotel before dinner, as you will experience "peka", a traditional slow baking way of preparing lamb and veal with potatoes from Konavle.
Friday
A day of rest.....or...
We recommend heading to Dubrovnik for the day!
The nicest way to go is to catch one of the taxi boats that go back and forth throughout the day. If boats are not your thing, then there is also a city bus that will take you to Dubrovnik.
Make sure you check the time for the last boat back to Cavtat!
If you are interested in a historical tour, then we can organize a guide for you in Dubrovnik. The tour is 2 hours around the old city, the walls are not included. 2024 price was €80 for a group.
Other locations to consider are Mostar, Bosnia or Kotor, Montenegro.
Lunch and dinner are not included today.
Saturday
Today we travel by boat to paint/sketch on the island of Lokrum.
The island of Lokrum lies opposite the wonderful city of Dubrovnik, and is a favourite oasis of peace, both for residents of Dubrovnik and tourists staying in this part of the Adriatic.

Sunday
Today we find ourselves painting in Čilipi, which is a 15 minute drive from Mlini.
We specifically go on Sunday because at 11:15am there is a traditional Folklore performance... what a nice way to eat lunch!
And if you decide that you want to take the morning off from painting, then from 9 a.m. onward, one can take a look at the exhibited traditional handicrafts, visit the museum and taste the sweet traditional wine Prošek or brandy Travarica.
Monday
This is your departure day, if you are not staying longer.
Breakfast is available to you at the buffet.
Transfers to the airport can be organized for you at your expense. Find out when your fellow painters are leaving as a taxi costs a flat fee to the airport so less expensive if there are more of you in the vehicle.
